My sister-in-law, Jane, has a birthday coming up soon and I’ve been on the search for a great gift. She collects salt and pepper shakers so I thought a charming pair of pandas would be perfect. Luckily, panda shakers seem to be abundant! I’ve narrowed it down to the following eight sets…

These delightful little kissing pandas are only $9.95 at Amazon! They’re so cute I’m tempted to buy them for myself.

The dopey little grin on these pandas’ faces are priceless. This pair has a more vintage-y feel and it’s more Jane’s style. The set is available at Animal Den for only $10.00.

I’m a sucker for TarePanda, how could anyone not be? This little shaker is too cute, but if you want a salt and pepper shaker you’ll have purchase two. The little TarePanda isn’t a shaker, just the cover to the base. However, what’s better than a TarePanda? Two of course! Only $9.99 at Yukaris Kawaii Shop. Most definitely kawaii!

Here’s another set that I’m tempted to add to my own collection of pandas. At a little over $14.00, how could I not? Available at Tokyo Jazz Panda (which by the way has tons of cute stuff).

Way out of my price range at the moment, but more along the style of salt and pepper shakers my sister-in-law collects are the beautifully hand crafted Lynn Chase shakers. $66.00 and they’re yours! Available, appropriately, from Park Avenue Gifts.

Finally, the San Diego Zoo shop has two different shaker sets to choose from, both equally lovely. They’re $9.95 and $12.95 respectively.

As a side note, these hippo shakers, also available at the San Diego Zoo shop are amazingly sweet for $12.95.

I’m still deciding on which to choose; with so many charming choices it’ll definitely take awhile longer.
