Monday, October 1st, was the start of China’s week-long celebration of National Day. The holiday kicks off one of three Golden Weeks, and huge celebrations are organized throughout the country. According to CCTV International, this year a new panda exhibit is slated to open.
In southwest China’s Sichuan province, a new panda zoo is opening for the National Day holidays. Known as “Secrets of a Panda’s Life”, the facility is intended to inform visitors about the endangered species. Touring the garden, spectators gain a better understanding of the coming of age, mating, and birth of pandas.
However, I haven’t been able to unearth any information about the new facility. Have you heard anything about it or know where we can find more information? If so, please email us at Suggestions@PerfectPandas.com.
I guess it’s one well kept secret…
