Happy Independence Day to all my fellow Americans, and happy Friday to everyone else!

Kara O’Malley was kind enough to send me this photo of a painting an old boyfriend did for her. I’m so glad she shared it with us; it’s lovely! It also proves that the artist, Joe Heaps Nelson, was robbed of his idea. Kung Fu Panda should be paying royalties to him!
