Panda Pregnancy Update

Well, it looks like our hopes of a little panda baby brother or sister for Tai Shan are gone. But, as the old saying goes: When one door closes another one opens. Though Mei Xiang’s pregnancy watch is over, Lun Lun’s has just begun!

The Atlanta Zoo is now on 24 hour pregnancy watch in hopes of a little sibling for Mei Lan. Everyone cross your fingers and follow the progress here.

Pandas Back in Stock

I wanted to feature the matching belt for the panda mirror I posted on Saturday, but they were out of stock. No more! They’re back in stock and you can get yours at ShanaLogic for only $16.00! So cute!

White Panda Bear Hooded Towel

This adorable oversized hooded towel is made of absorbent cotton terry cloth. Warm and cuddly, the hooded towel comes tied with a ribbon and makes for a great gift. It can also be personalized with a font style and a thread color of your choosing! $31.95 with no personalization, and $35.95 with at stitchsensations.com

Panda Mini Screen

This cute little mini screen is only 6 inches inches tall! I think it’d be a perfect accent for a desk. It’s on sale for $23.98 at Good Orient, and 10% of anything you buy there goes back to pandas in ad revenue. I love that, it makes me feel less guilty about shopping!

Panda Mirror

This cute little hand held mirror is only $6.00 at ShanaLogic, and it’s absolutely adorable. The description says it’s 2.25 inches around, but I think that’s probably a mistake and it’s 2.25 inches in diameter. I just think that a mirror 2.25 inches in circumference would be a bit tiny (smaller than a quarter!) to see anything in. However, I don’t have one so I’m not sure.

Also, with anything you buy from ShanaLogic, 5% goes to pandas through ad revenue here. Yay!

Olympics Pandas!

I’m a Google-aholic. I love all things Google and for the first time ever, they’ve featured a panda in their logo. To celebrate the first day of the Beijing Olympics, they’ve featured the official mascots. All you have to do is go to Google today to see it in action. If you miss it, don’t worry, I’ve got you covered!

Rubber Stamp Pandas

If you’re into crafting, you’re probably into rubber stamping. Even if you’re not these adorable stamps would be a great addition to any letter or card! They’re pretty reasonably priced, and the best part is you can get a cheap ink pad in black almost anywhere. You don’t need any fancy colors for a panda, just simple black! Both are available at Amazon for pretty reasonable prices.

This one is only $9.00.

This one is slightly larger and costs $12.00.

Panda Kicks

These cute shoes are available from Zappos.com for only $37.00. They feature a cute little panda applique and paw prints! I already own a pair of panda shoes (these), but I’m tempted to get these, too. A girl can never have too many (panda) shoes, right?!

USA 2008 Beijing Olympic Medals

The Olympics are rapidly approaching and these coins from Chinasprout are sure to please any fan. This U.S.O.C. Medal features a smiling “Panda Sam” carrying red, white and blue accessories, holding an Olympic Flame, wearing a blue starred top-hat and a red starred bow tie. He’s cute, even if he’s a bit wonky eyed. Each Medal arrives with a certificate of authenticity. You can get one for yourself for only $29.00 ($4 more if you’d like a collectors box.)

More Panda Fabric

I found this cute canvas fabric at Aranziaronzo.com. I like it because it’s canvas, and I’d love to make a cute tote out of it. It’s sold by the meter and runs about 35 inches wide. It’s a bit pricey at 1,800 Yen ($16.64) a meter, but would be worth it for a cute bag. They ship anywhere in the world, get on it! Available here.
