WWF Updates – Lots of Pandas!

I just received the September WWF newsletter ( I signed up a bit late, obviously!) and it’s full of panda-y goodness!

  • You can send a free panda ecard to someone you’re thinking of today. What a sweet way to say hi!

  • You can download a ton of free wallpapers – including these amazingly cute panda ones! The first one is my current wallpaper and I ‘awwww’ every time I see it!

  • You have a bunch of extra change lying around and one of these CoinStar machines in a store near you? If so, you can donate your extra change directly to WWF through CoinStar! I didn’t know this until today and now I’m making it my mission to pay for everything in whole dollars and collect the change for the pandas! How easy is that? Find out if there’s a CoinStar near you here.

  • You don’t have enough panda related items in your wallet, you say? You’d like more and you want to help save pandas with it? I have the perfect credit card for you! You can get this WWF credit card from Chase and the WWF will automatically get $50.00 when you sign up. After that, 1% of everything you buy on the card will be donated back to the WWF.  Since the program started in 1995, Chase has donated over 10 MILLION dollars to WWF! Hurry and sign up before the US Economy crashes completely and no one can get approved for credit anymore.

See, now that was a panda filled newsletter, right? Sign up to get your own newsletter from WWF on their site.

Panda Pouch

This adorable pouch is available from the awesome ShanaLogic. I have a similar pouch that I use to keep all those extra reward/member cards in. It’s perfect – it keeps my wallet slim with only the cards I use frequently, but I still have the extra cards with me when I need them.

Of course, you could keep anything in this adorable pouch, it’s definitely roomy enough. It’d be a cute tampon case, too!

And at only $9.00 it’s a steal!

*As always, since I’m a ShanaLogic affilliate, 5% of sales goes to pandas! Yay!

I Completely Relate, Mr. Panda

I have pretty bad allergies to mostly everything: dogs, cats, mold, mildew, trees, grasses, dust, air. If it exists, I’m probably allergic.

So, especially these days, I can relate to the cute little guy below.

I Can’t Handle the Cuteness!

Seriously, I might die from the cuteness of the Atlanta panda baby.

I got a bad case of Pandababyitis.

Don’t forget!

Since I’ve been behind in posting, I just wanted to let you know the 4th and final Birthday Giveaway is posted. Be sure to enter!

Also, thanks for your patience with the postings. Life is hectic at the moment and I expect it to calm down soon. Stay tuned for more panda goodness. I promise I will ALWAYS post eventually! :)

Thanks for reading!
Julie

P.S.

How cute is the Atlanta panda baby?! I want to cuddle him so badly!

Panda Charm Tutorial

Want to make your own panda charms from clay? Even if you haven’t thought about it, this tutorial by Oborochann makes it look so easy you’ll probably want to give it a try!

Since the tutorial is one VERY long photo, I’ve put it behind the cut. See you on the other side!

Pink Panda Lunchbox

I think I’d like this lunchbox a bit better if the pink panda didn’t look so sad! Maybe she’s just sleepy? That’s it, it must be morning and she’s just not a morning gal. Trust me, I can relate.

You can buy her, or the cute doggy, for only £9.99 (~$18.36 USD) at Urchin.

My Panda Adventure

I can’t believe I’ve never posted a link to my Great Panda Adventure. That’s what I call the trip I took to Tai Shan on his first birthday!

I took my stuffed panda that I received when I ‘adopted’ Tai through the National Zoo and was on my way. I hope you enjoy looking at the photos as much as I had on the trip. Just a warning, I love cheesy roadside attractions!

You can see the full set here.

Birthday Giveaway #4!

Sorry about the delay in getting this week’s giveaway information up. Life seems to be keeping me busy!

For this week’s giveaway I’ve chosen a reading theme! I love to read when I have time, unfortunately, that’s not been lately. However, I’m sure you can squeeze in a few minutes a day to get caugh up on these panda reads!

There will be 3 winners this week!

The first winner will receive The Last Panda! I haven’t read this book yet, but I bought a copy for me to read, too! If you don’t win, you can buy it on Amazon for $11.25.

The Second winner will get this cute little inspirational book entitled The Wisdom of Pandas. It has quotes from many famous people accompanied by cute panda pictures. If you don’t win, you can buy it from Amazon for about $6.00.

For each of the above books I’ll include one of these cute bookmarks! A panda book and a panda bookmark? What’s better?! If you don’t win, you can buy a set of two panda bookmarks for only $3.50 at China Sprout.

Finally, the third winner will get this adorable silver toned panda bookmark. Unfortunately, I got it at a local bookstore so there is no photo of it. I’ll take one if I have the time, but I can’t promise anything. It’s a silver toned bookmark with a quote on it that says “What’s black, white and adored all over?”. Through a hole in the top is a silk ribbon with a silver toned panda hanging on the end. It’s quite cute and I’m sure you’ll love it, too.

It’s very similar to this one, but with a panda charm on the end of the ribbon:

As usual:

*** To win, leave a comment on this post by Midnight EST on Tuesday, September 30th stating which prize you’d prefer to win. That’s it! I’ll randomly select three winners! Hopefully things work out nicely and the winners each get the gift they like best, but no guarantees.  :)

Good luck everyone!

Congratulations Anastasia and Melissa!

Birthday Giveaway #3 has come to a close and there are two new winners!

Melissa, I’ll be sending you the Ultimate Pandas DVD and Anastasia I’ll be sending you The Amazing Panda Adventure!

I’ll email you later this afternoon requesting your mailing addresses (or you can email me – either way) and I’ll send them out as soon as possible for you to enjoy. Congratulations ladies!

Don’t forget – a new giveaway will be announced later this afternoon, so be sure to check back and enter!
