Teeny Tiny Panda Stamp

Nothing is cuter than something tiny; babies, puppies, dollhouses…as long as it’s tiny, it’s adorable. So, obviously, I think this is the cutest panda rubber stamp I’ve ever seen! It’s smaller than a quater and only $6.50 at FromJapanWithLove’s ETSY shop! If you adore it as much as I do, you better hurry up and buy it because I’m tempted to whip out my Visa and buy it!

Panda Charm Tutorial

Want to make your own panda charms from clay? Even if you haven’t thought about it, this tutorial by Oborochann makes it look so easy you’ll probably want to give it a try!

Since the tutorial is one VERY long photo, I’ve put it behind the cut. See you on the other side!

Talk like a Panda Pirate

Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, Arrrh! Of course, we have to put a panda spin on it, so how about talking like a panda pirate! Wonder what that would sound like?

You can make this lovely little panda pirate to celebrate by purchasing this adorable pattern from Amy Gaines. It’s only $3.00!

Birthday Giveaway #1!

Sorry about the delay in posting, it’s been a long Labor Day weekend at my house, and not the good kind -  I’ve been sick in bed.  But, I’m feeling better and I’m ready to start a new Giveaway! Each week this month I’ll be giving away panda prizes to celebrate PerfectPandas.com turning 1 year old! (And, this week me turning 29 on Thursday… we won’t dwell on that though. Almost 30! Eeep!)

This week, I’ve decided to go crafty! I saw these three patterns at my local fabric store and fell in love. So much so I had to buy a few extra to give away!

#1 Pattern 2783 – Just in time for Halloween!

#2 Pattern 3662 -TOO CUTE! I want one, too. Ha!

#3 Pattern 3787 – Will the winner please make me one?! Adorable!

*** To win, leave a comment on this post by Midnight EST on Sunday, September 7th with the pattern you like the best and what you’d do with it. That’s it! I’ll randomly select three winners! Each winner will receive one pattern. Hopefully things work out nicely and the winners each get a pattern they like, but no guarantees.  :)

The next giveaway will be announced on Monday, September 8th!

Good luck everyone!

Huge Origami Panda

In late July over 2,000 people in Hong Kong worked for nine hours to make the largest origami mosaic design in the world.  And what was that design you ask? Pandas of course!

The mosaic used over 100,000 origami stars and was just shy of 3,500 square feet! That’s defintely worthy of a world record!

Thanks to OrigamiPanda for sending this in. How appropriate!

Paper Panda Toys!

Once again, I found an adorable paper panda craft on Folding Trees! I love that site.

This time, they featured a cute little panda paper doll set from TheToyMaker.com. It’s a little panda kingdom complete with a palace. You can download the free cutouts directly from them here. My favorite part? The twins Bam and Boo! Eeep, too cute!

Easy Cut Panda

Yet another crafty paper panda project! This one is from EasyCutPopUp and is only $3.95 to download. It makes this beautiful Kirigami pop up card. The pattern is 3 pages long and they promise you won’t need glue and that it’s not too difficult to assemble! They even include links to YouTube videos of each model being assembled!

If you try it, make sure to tell us how it went and send pictures!

If you pop on over to Folding Trees, you can enter to win a free pattern!

Paper Craft Olympic Pandas

These adorable Olympic panda paper crafts are available free from the original source, cardmodel.cn, or you can download them below from Perfect Pandas. Unfortunately, the instructions are in Chinese, so you’ll have to follow along with the pictures. Luckily, there are a ton of photos to follow along with so you should be fine! They’re extremely intricate, so it will probably takes hours upon hours to complete, but look how cute they are!

Rubber Stamp Pandas

If you’re into crafting, you’re probably into rubber stamping. Even if you’re not these adorable stamps would be a great addition to any letter or card! They’re pretty reasonably priced, and the best part is you can get a cheap ink pad in black almost anywhere. You don’t need any fancy colors for a panda, just simple black! Both are available at Amazon for pretty reasonable prices.

This one is only $9.00.

This one is slightly larger and costs $12.00.

More Panda Fabric

I found this cute canvas fabric at Aranziaronzo.com. I like it because it’s canvas, and I’d love to make a cute tote out of it. It’s sold by the meter and runs about 35 inches wide. It’s a bit pricey at 1,800 Yen ($16.64) a meter, but would be worth it for a cute bag. They ship anywhere in the world, get on it! Available here.
