Panda Ear Buds

Need a panda accessory for your mp3 player (or iPhone/iPod/iPad/iThing)? These ear buds are only $14.99 from ModCloth.

iPanda Player

OhGizmo! featured this iPanda iPod docking station awhile ago, and I thought you’d love it as much as I did. They’re a bit pricey at $119.99, but according to OhGizmo!, the sound quality is awesome, and well worth the price.

Panda Headphones

I know these are for kids, but I totally want them.

I’m a dork.

Available from Amazon.com for only $12.95.

iPod Case Panda

This adorable iPod case comes in 9 different sizes, so there’s definitely one for every kind of iPod. It’s handmade from an independent designer. And since I’m a ShanaLogic affiliiate now, 5% of anything you buy there will be donated to pandas! Yay! Available for $25.00.

Tugg Speedman Pandas

So, I noticed a new Google ad promoting this site: www.pandarelocationfoundation.org. To my surprise, I stumbled across a promotional site for the new Ben Stiller movie Tropic Thunder. What does it have to do with pandas? I have no idea. Maybe they’ve just become so trendy, they threw it in to drum up more interest? I’ve emailed the given address to find out ‘more information’, so I’ll keep you up to date if anything interesting comes about from it.

Panda Riot

I’ve recently discovered Panda Riot, a New York/Philidelphia based band. Granted, I listened to them at first because of their name, but immediately fell in love with them after hearing their cover of Book of Love. Self described as blissful, swirl-pop, sing-along sonar aesthetic, be sure to check out their website and their Last.fm page to listen to more music.

A Real Life Panda Band, Honest.

I consider myself somewhat of an eclectic music lover; I’ll listen to anything once, even if it’s in a genre I would usually avoid. With music, as in life, I find it’s good practice to give everything a fair shot before jumping to conclusions. So, when I heard about The Panda Band I approached it with an open mind and came out pleasantly surprised. I’m more of a mellow, lyric loving kind of gal, and it was a perfect fit for my regular play list. I bought their album The Vital Chapter which I’ve grown quite fond of, and now have several of their songs, including ‘Lovely Shoulders’, on permanent repeat.

Who wouldn’t love a song that starts off like this:

What somebody sees in you is hard to understand,
You don’t set out to love someone, it’s not something you plan.
But when someone’s sent to love you,
You cherish her like time, my time with you…
She said I got sad eyes and I lean to the left.
Well, I slouch when I sit like some pirate sunken ship.
Such skinny little ankles and bony little hands,
But I got some lovely shoulders and she likes that in a man.

Give it a listen: Lovely Shoulders (MP3)

If you adore it as much as I do, definitely head on over to their MySpace page to listen to more songs and buy the album!
