DSEffects.com has a cute little panda you can download and have live on your cell phone (if it’s JAVA enabled). The best part? It’s free!
Finally, the National Geographic Pandas game for Nintendo DS has been released! I’ve been anticipating this for months! I might be a little old for a Nintendo DS, but I don’t care, I’m young enough at heart to enjoy it! I’ve already placed my order and I’m eagerly anticipating my new panda babies’ arrival. When my stress levels get high I know I can just pull out my DS and let the little panda cubbies lower my blood pressure. Yay!
The best price I’ve found so far is at Amazon for only $29.99
Even if you don’t have a DS you can enjoy the amazingly cute wallpapers on the official site. There are 16 to choose from; my two favorites are after the cut!
This cute panda book has a twist- it’s attached to a handpuppet! The story is a slightly tweaked version of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star – one that features pandas (and other black and white cuddly animals)! It’s a great way to interact with a young child while reading and I think it would make a wonderful gift for a new baby.
You can get it at Amazon for only $10.39!
I love mahjong, the chinese tile game. I also love pandas, the cuddly chinese furballs. What better combo than Panda Mahjong?!
Play it here for free!
I am totally in love with this site. I just discovered it today and have already read the entire site. It’s such a sweet little comic that portrays pandas as the loving, gentle creatures that they are. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been updated since April, so I’m not holding my breath for more comics, though I’m crossing my fingers. Here are a few of my favorites, but to be honest, all of them are my favorites. Read them all at Panda Panda!
Panda fishing means looking at the fish. He is waving hello.
This is the only one I’m not as fond of. As a math nerd, I think it should say love = math. Ha!
Look how adorable this panda pumpkin is! I plan on getting some pumpkins to carve this weekend. You’re never too old for Halloween fun, right? If you carve any panda pumpkins this year, be sure to email me a photo and I’ll post it!
I wrote about the Little Panda book awhile ago here, but now there’s a website dedicated just to the book. It’s adorable! I especially love the sketchbooks filled with pandas below. I’d love a sketchbook full of pandas, wouldn’t you? I just love her style of illustration! The book comes out October 27 (Random fact I have memorized for no reason: it’s the 300th day of the year), but until then you can visit the book site www.littlepandabook.com.
I have pretty bad allergies to mostly everything: dogs, cats, mold, mildew, trees, grasses, dust, air. If it exists, I’m probably allergic.
So, especially these days, I can relate to the cute little guy below.
It’s time for Birthday Giveaway #3!
This week there will be two gifts and two winners. I chose a movie theme this week! Both choices are brand new DVD and both are full of panda adorableness!
#1 Ultimate Pandas- I wrote a review about this movie last October. If you haven’t seen it or don’t own it, now’s your chance. I’ll be giving one lucky winner this brand new DVD full of panda-y goodness!
Watch the Trailer and fall in love:
#2 Amazing Panda Adventure – This movie is a quite old; it came out in 1995. However, the panda cuteness is timeless and I still love it. One lucky winner will get a brand new DVD copy to add to their panda collection!
Watch the trailer and fall in love…again!
As usual:
*** To win, leave a comment on this post by Midnight EST on Sunday, September 21st stating which movie you’d prefer to win. That’s it! I’ll randomly select two winners! Hopefully things work out nicely and the winners each get the gift they like best, but no guarantees. ![]()
The next giveaway will be announced on Monday, September 22nd!
Good luck everyone!
