Cappuccino art is so much fun, I wish that a barista near me was this talented (or I was!). I’d have a panda smiling back at me every morning!
So, this reminds me of the panda bread I posted about awhile ago. I think it’s cookies, but I’m not 100% certain because the site is in Japanese. However, even if they aren’t cookies – you could easily adapt the idea to cookies. How fun!
I really wish that the Coca-Cola Company would use this advertising campaign in the US, because I’d be more apt to buy soda from a panda covered vending machine! Polar bears are out, pandas are in! This one is apparently in Kobe Chinatown in Japan!

It’s fall and I’m starting to get into the baking mood again. Nothing is more comforting than staying home on a cold night and baking cookies for the people you love. However, if you’re too busy to bake it (like I have been lately!) then you can always fake it!
Baked‘s Etsy shop sells scrumptious looking cookies in all shapes and size, but of course my favorite is the panda and bamboo ones! You can order a dozen cookies (6 of each or a dozen of just one design) for $36.00. While $3 a cookie may seem a bit steep, I think their adorableness justifies it!
I found this adorable photo over on the wonderful FFFOUND! (aptly named, of course) website. I wish I could wake up every morning to a panda cappuccino!
Katherine sent in a link to her panda cookie tutorial just in time for Valentine’s Day! I’ll definitely be trying her method of transfering the panda image to the cookies. I didn’t even know Foodwriters existed until her email.
Check out the tutorial on her Flickr account.
Thanks again for sending this in, Katerine!
Martina was kind enough to send in this yummy panda treat: Licorice & Marshmallow Panda Candy! Yum!
My friend used to live in Germany and would send me gummi candy all the time – it was so yummy. I’m not really sure it’s marshmallow, but that’s always what I thought it was. It’s labelled as ‘white foam’, but I can tell you from experience it’s tastier than it sounds.
If you’d rather try it yourself than take my word for it, you’re in luck. Get yours today at GermanDeli.com for only $2.99!

Thanks again for sending this in Martina!
