Katherine sent in a link to her panda cookie tutorial just in time for Valentine’s Day! I’ll definitely be trying her method of transfering the panda image to the cookies. I didn’t even know Foodwriters existed until her email.
Check out the tutorial on her Flickr account.
Thanks again for sending this in, Katerine!
Martina was kind enough to send in this yummy panda treat: Licorice & Marshmallow Panda Candy! Yum!
My friend used to live in Germany and would send me gummi candy all the time – it was so yummy. I’m not really sure it’s marshmallow, but that’s always what I thought it was. It’s labelled as ‘white foam’, but I can tell you from experience it’s tastier than it sounds.
If you’d rather try it yourself than take my word for it, you’re in luck. Get yours today at GermanDeli.com for only $2.99!

Thanks again for sending this in Martina!
I’m a HUGE fan of pomegranates. I love plucking out the juicy little seeds from the fruit, I love drinking the juice, and I’m sure I’d love chowing down on these Pomegranate White Tea Gummy Pandas from Bissinger’s.
Available in packs of 3 4oz bags for only $11.75. Yum!
Simply Sweet Sentiments has this amazing basket full of panda cookies on thir custom work page. Obviously, it’s a custom job so there is no price listed. The only downfall to a basket full of panda cookies? I don’t think I’d be able to eat them, I’d feel too guilty!
I stumbled upon this adorable Rice Krispie panda and I think I’m actually capable of making it. I’m not much of a cook, but I enjoy trying to bake once in a while. This recipe seems pretty simple and oh so yummy!
Recipe and instructions here.
These panda cupcakes are almost too cute to eat. Almost. Cause I’d totally snarf them down in a heartbeat. They’re cute, but they also look delicious!
The first was found on Dorie Greenspan’s site, and instructions on making them can be found in this amazing book Hello, Cupcake! Available from Amazon for only $10.85
And what’s better than panda cupcakes? PINK panda cupcakes. Bakerella made them with Strawberry Milkshake flavored Oreos – I didn’t even know those existed! Yum!
This comes from lovely reader polkadotz. She found these awesome party supplies at OrientalTrading.com. They have absolutely EVERYTHING Kung Fu Panda related you could ever want for a party.
You can buy everything all at once in an Ultimate Party Pack for $109.95, but it doesn’t really give a description of what’s included – just a photo. There’s a piñata at least!
How about some Kung Fu Panda PEZ dispensers? $17.95 for a dozen.
Cupcakes are so trendy these days, you know I was bound to feature some soon. These adorable panda cupcakes are sesame, green tea and vanilla flavored – a bit odd, but definitely unique enough to warrant a try. The recipe and decorating instructions can be found at Not Quite Nigella.

I’m about to tell you more than you ever needed, or wanted, to know about me, so forgive me. I’m really crampy right now and a bowl of ice cream would do wonders to cure that.
I’m positive of it.
I wish they had Perry’s ice cream within a 50 mile radius of me, because I think I would actually drive that far to get it. Unfortunately, they only distribute to New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Lucky states.
Now, I’ve never actually had Perry’s Ice Cream, so it really could be utter trash, but let’s be positive and list the pros:
- It’s named Panda Paws. Anything panda related is worth trying.
- It has Peanut Butter Panda Paw Cups. Just saying that makes me happy.
- It comes in yummy flavors: Chocolate, Cherry & Original
- It comes in a Light version, which will obviously not make me thinner, but is better than full calories, right?
- It’s Kosher. I’m not Jewish, but Kosher always seems like a good thing to be to me.
Anyone ever actually had it? Am I just romanticizing it in my head or is it actually as awesome as I’ve purported?
