Apologies and Thank Yous

I’m sorry the updates have been few and far between lately. I’ve come down with the flu and haven’t had the energy to get out of bed, let alone update. Luckily, I’m slowly feeling a bit better.

Also, a big thank you to Scott for helping out the past few days! I’ve updated the past few days I’ve missed, so be sure to check the archives for more panda cuteness.

Speaking of thank yous – this thank you card from Supermarkethq.com is adorable and oh so appropriate! You can get one for only $4.00, too.

Panda Screen Cleaner

While I think this is a completely unnecessary, it’s definitely cute. According to Gizmodo, these little fat guys even double as a wrist rest. At around $8.00 a piece, they’re definitely affordable enough to splurge on – if you can decipher the Sanwa website…

Panda News Calendar

Andi from PandaNews.org recently got back from a trip to Bifengxia where he worked with the pandas. I’m unbelievably jealous, but at least I can live vicariously through the photos and stories he shares on his site! They are absolutely adorable!

Andi also has calendars featuring his photos for sale! Be sure to grab one before they’re gone. You can order from his site here, or on eBay.

Die Cut Panda Calendar

I absolutely adore this die cut panda calendar. Look how cute the little guy is in a snorkel for July! This calendar would look great on any desk and would be sure to brighten the dullest winter day. After all, who could resist a panda in a scarf?  I feel I should mention that there are other animals available, but who needs other animals when there’s a panda option?!

Available at Fred Flare for only $14.00!

Leather Panda Bookends

I found these adorable leather panda bookends made by artist Sandy Vohr on her website. They don’t seem to be available for sale anymore, but she does note in the sales gallery that she has several pieces not shown that are available for purchase, so you can always cross your fingers and contact her.  Too cute!

Panda Pouch #2

I think these leather pouches from Aranziaronzo.com are amazingly cute. I’d think they were cuter if they were pleather, but that’s just me.  They come in three sizes, pencil pouch, coin purse, and a larger 15x19cm pouch. They also come in your choice of three colors: camel, dark brown, and black. Prices are a bit steep, especially because you have to tack on the additional $14.00+ shipping from Japan, but I think they’re so cute they’re worth it!

Available at Aranziaronzo.com for $13.00 to $30.00!

Birthday Giveaway #2!

It’s time for Birthday Giveaway #2!

This week there will be two gifts and two winners.

#1  I chose to give all three items I bought from isabellsumbrella away because I couldn’t choose my favorite; I just love them all! The winner will get a set of six note cards (finished size 3.5”x5”) complete with kraft colored envelopes…

a set of twelve mini note cards (3.5” x 2.5”)…

and, last but not least, a cute little panda button!

#2 A second winner will get their very own Panda Webkinz! I saw these at a local store and couldn’t resist getting myself (and you!) one. He’s so cuddly and the online game/social network thing is too cute! It’s for kids obviously, but it’s also perfect for an adult to cuddle, too!

As usual:

*** To win, leave a comment on this post by Midnight EST on Sunday, September 14th with your favorite – #1) the note cards and button or #2) the cuddly panda bear. That’s it! I’ll randomly select two winners! Hopefully things work out nicely and the winners each get the gift they like best, but no guarantees.  :)

The next giveaway will be announced on Monday, September 15th!

Good luck everyone!

Announce that Panda Birth in Style!

So, all I can think about is the cute baby panda at the Atlanta Zoo.  I’m so excited I almost want to send out announcements! If I did, you can be certain I’d be sending them out sealed with wax and a cute panda!

Though actual handwritten correspondence is rare these days, it’s something I love to do. I think it makes the recipient feel special and cared about. Also, I love to receive handwritten mail – who doesn’t?! Adding a wax seal with an adorable panda impression would make the letter even more meaningful, so why not go the extra step?!

You can purchase this beautiful wax stamp for only $11.50 at Amazon.com; even if just for a desktop decoration.

Panda Postage

Since there are no ‘official’ panda postage stamps available here in the US, you can always make your own! If you have a panda photo you love and would like to make it into a stamp, you can do it through Stamps.com. However, if you’re like me and lack a panda within close proximity to take a photo of, or aren’t too creative when it comes to illustration or drawing, you can buy a sheet of stamps that someone else has designed! Prices range from $16.00 to $18.00 depending on the artist’s commission.

Click the photo to buy. And, if you do, 7% of the purchase price will go to pandas! Yay!

Panda Pencil Holders

These pencil holders would brighten any desk and make the work day slightly more enjoyable. And we all need that, right? Both versions are available at Amazon for $34.99.  1, 2.

While you’re at it, why not top your pencils off with this little panda eraser? For only a quarter you can afford enough for all your writing instruments. Though, I don’t recommend that, it’d a bit overkill, no?
