I am absolutely in love with Bobsmade.com, a German artist’s website. For a very reasonable fee (usually less than $150 USD) you can get a hand painted, customized piece of functional artwork! They customize everything from shoes to glasses to headphones. Obviously, it’s custom so you can choose anything you’d like but check out their adorable previously painted pandas!
Also, they have freebies. Here’s a cute iPhone/iPad panda background!

Paige Thompson has some wonderful photographs on her DeviantArt site. In particular her collection of animal inspired lipstick, Animal-ipstick, is amazing. Of course I’m biased and adore the panda ones – especially the shocked panda! – but they’re all interesting.
Hope you’re having a great environmentally friendly Earth Day! Google’s logo has been transformed into a lush, green depiction of a completely unrealistic scene where pandas and penguins and lions (oh my!) frolic together. Despite the inaccuracy, it’s adorable! You can even mouse over the pandas and see them rolling around happily amongst the bamboo!
Link: Google, obviously!
Oh. My. Goodness. I want him so badly. The cow, not the man.
He’s in northern Colorado, which is only a few hours away. I think Ben, the miniature panda cow, might be getting a visit from me!
I was sent a link to the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society’s advertisements promoting conservation of the Bluefin Tuna. While I’m all for conservation efforts, obviously, I’m not a fan of the whole shock factor approach. Although I’m sure it brings a lot of attention to their cause, it broke my little heart to see the photos – despite knowing they aren’t real.
Perhaps I’m too emotional. Oh, who are we kidding, I’m WAY too emotional.
I’ve placed the ads after the cut because they’re a bit disturbing. At least for me.
Watching this video is like instant stress relief, which I need since I’m in the final stretch of writing my Master’s Thesis.
I said ‘Aaaaaah’ and ‘Awwwww!’ throughout; hopefully you’ll find it as relaxing as I did.
The video is after a cut because it starts itself when the page loads and that drives me insane!
Natalie submitted a link to an absolutely amazing halloween costume. It’s simple, too. So if you haven’t decided on a costume this year, fear not – it’s not to late!
This is Lizzie, she blogs at The Dreams that Make us Real, and she made this awesome rainbow vomiting panda costume!
I think you should take inspiration from Lizzie this Halloween…
So, I used to smoke, but I quit over 5 years ago. However, even I’m tempted to buy a pack of these cigarettes just for the kitsch factor. Though, for the $30 a pack (pack, not carton!) price, I’d hesitate. Available at TygerPipes.
