I would LOVE to have a panda license plate, wouldn’t you?! Unfortunately, I don’t plan on moving to Thailand any time soon, so for now I’m more than happy to keep my Colorado plates.  

A senior transportation official of Chiang Mai, shows a license plate decorted with photos of panda cub which was born in Chaing Mai zoo last month. It was part of a campaign to celebrate the birth.

There’s nothing eco-friendlier on the road.

Last Fall Killington, Vermont’s Pasta Pot had this impressive hay panda on display. Apparently it’s an annual event? I found the photo here, which doesn’t have much information, so if you have any additional information feel free to comment!

It was a panda-rific April Fool’s Day yesterday. Google even got in on it! If you happened to use Google Maps street view function yesterday, you may have noticed that the usual little yellow pegman had been replaced by a cuddly panda! They stated it was an attempt to make the application more cute. Ha!

The Taipei Times played a cute little joke on it’s readers for April Fool’s Day. They claimed the Zoo’s pandas were really just brown bears that had been dyed!

How did they figure it out? Their roots began to show, of course! Ha!
