Andi from PandaNews.org recently got back from a trip to Bifengxia where he worked with the pandas. I’m unbelievably jealous, but at least I can live vicariously through the photos and stories he shares on his site! They are absolutely adorable!
Andi also has calendars featuring his photos for sale! Be sure to grab one before they’re gone. You can order from his site here, or on eBay.

I am totally in love with this site. I just discovered it today and have already read the entire site. It’s such a sweet little comic that portrays pandas as the loving, gentle creatures that they are. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been updated since April, so I’m not holding my breath for more comics, though I’m crossing my fingers. Here are a few of my favorites, but to be honest, all of them are my favorites. Read them all at Panda Panda!
Panda fishing means looking at the fish. He is waving hello.
This is the only one I’m not as fond of. As a math nerd, I think it should say love = math. Ha!
With the support (and pushiness) of a few friends, I’ve finally added Perfect Pandas to MySpace and Facebook. Both include an RSS feed of the site, so if you can’t make it here you can catch up on the latest news there.
I’ll add events and upcoming giveaways to each site as well, so be on the lookout for those!
Friend me!
So there’s this totally random panda site called Yay Pandas! Playing off the LOL cat phenomenon that has swept the internet lately, it features pictures of adorable pandas doing various things with a single word caption: YAY!
Check it out for a few laughs. It’s amazing how appropriate the word yay is in so many panda scenarios.
I’ve made a poll so you can choose which charity will receive the first $100.00 in ad revenue from the site! The poll is in the sidebar to the right. —->
I’m so excited that we’ve finally (almost) made it to $100! It’s nice to be able to make a tangible difference, no matter how small, by doing something I love. Basically, we’ve raised money from nothing, and that’s awesome. Congratulations, and thank you, to everyone who endures and clicks the ads. It actually does ad up.
Make sure to vote, and if you have another charity suggestion, leave a comment here or email us at suggestions@perfectpandas.com!
As it’s probably quite apparent, I’ve been really busy lately finishing up my degree and haven’t had a lot of time to update this site every day like I’d like to do. I start a new internship next week and I’ll have even less time soon. However, I LOVE this site and I love sharing so many unique panda items with everyone. Not to mention I’ve already raised over $60 for panda charities! (Yay everyone that clicks those ads!)
So here’s where you come in… if you love sharing the unique panda items you find along the way and like writing, I’d love to have you become a part of this site! If you’d like to join as a contributer please email me at Julie@perfectpandas.com. You don’t have to be the perfect writer, you just have to love pandas and sharing unique panda related things. No post quotas, write when you feel like it, even if it’s just once a month.
Of course I’ll still update the site with a new panda item every day, even if no one decides to join in the writing fun. It might just be a bit delayed.
