Today is my birthday. I could NOT be more excited about the fact that we’ve reached another $100 milestone already! I decided to go ahead and donate the $100.00 to WWF today instead of waiting until the ad revenue gets deposited into my account in a month or so. I wanted to do it on my birthday as a gift to myself. Does that make sense at all? I’m weird, I know.
So, it’s official: the second recipient of the PerfectPandas.com ad revenue is the WWF. (Proof!) Thanks to everyone who keeps visiting and reading!

When you donate to the WWF you can choose to adopt an animal, so of course I chose the panda! Apparently you get an adoption package, too! It includes a stuffed panda, a free WWF keychain and a cute little panda adoption photo and certificate. I’m going to be selfish and keep the photo/certificate, (mainly just because it will say Perfect Pandas) but I’ll give the stuffed panda and keychain away to the readers. Yay, another giveaway! Seriously, I love this giveaway stuff so much I think I’ll do at least one a month from now on.
Since I’ve been sick and super busy with birthday celebrations, the PandaBands didn’t make it out last weekend. However, I’m going to the post office tomorrow, so you’ll be receiving them soon!
Also, I’m sure you’ve noticed the pink ribbon in the upper right corner of the site. I’m not one to ask for donations most of the time. It makes me feel awkward. However, the fight against breast cancer is something that is especially close to my heart. Several generations of women in my family have been diagnosed with breast cancer, and several have died. My grandmother is the most recent, and thanks to wonderful medical care and a mastectomy she’s a survivor. Without the advancements in treatment she may not have been able to beat breast cancer. Some day, I hope that we won’t have to worry about any cancer, but until that day I’ll keep fighting it. That’s why I’m joining the Denver Susan G Komen Race for the Cure. It’s a 5K run/walk that will be held on October 5th in Denver, but I’m sure there’s one near you as well. If you can, please participate in your local Race for the Cure. You can find more information about the foundation here, and if you’d be so kind as to donate on my behalf, I’d be forever grateful. You can click the banner to get to my donation page or click here. Every little bit helps, even just $5.00. If not, I completely understand, I just wanted to get the word out.
Thanks for listening to my rambling, I’m off to bed now it’s been a long, wonderful day.
